  • Capture Rare Pokemon & Sell Them - OG Players are always on the hunt for shinnies and rare Pokes, as a new player one of the best money making methods is to capture pokes and sell them to other players.

5) Custom Items

  • All customs come with the Nightmare Promise that NJ will personally take the time to make sure your customs are working as you expected. We will always go the extra mile to keep you happy, if at any time you want to reach out, contact NJ directly on discord or in-game and he will help you and resolve your issue as a priority!
  • Customs on Nightmare are either paid or free from giveaways. There is no limit to customization within our game, we can create a new model from scratch or we can let you use our in-game editor tool to remaster an existing item to your liking. We have several custom-only weapon bases and unreleased content that is accessible for you to use as your item base.
  • All customs come with SoulSplit Effect and Unlimited Overload Effect. All custom mainhand weapons have +1 bonus hit if you are using an offhand from any weapon set. (This also works for offhand customs and mainhand weapon sets).
  • Another benefit is all customs have rolling best-in-slot stats. This means when a new weapon tier gets released the stats will be updated and adjusted to be better than the current. All customs also automatically get upgraded to the latest item tier, this means the cost of shards for those levels are entirely free for you.
  • If you are interested in getting a custom, message any one of the staff team and we have BIS items already setup for you to test so you can get a feel of what to expect. (Melee 26833, Magic 26834, Range 26835)

  • Each pokemon has it’s specific evolution added, this means you can always evolve (or devolve) your pokemon.
  • Every-single Poke-Type has been added including Fairies. Any Pokes that have been reclassified have been reclassified here as well.

9) Extended Game Mechanics

  • We have heavily extended the base game, here are a few ways we have done so.

9.1) Item Lending

  • Every single item can be lent to another player by trading that user and Right-Clicking > Lend.
  • When lending an item the item will be returned to the original owner if any of the players logout.
  • Lending items has no time limit currently.

9.2) Item Summoning

  • Every single piece of equipible gear such as weapons and armour can be summoned for you to fight.
  • While summoned, depending on what you selected, all of the items will attack for you, as if worn by a ghost.
  • This costs Mana at a rate of 100 Mana to spawn and 2 Mana per Item per minute.

9.3) Minigame, Raid & Mass Bossing Parties

  • The party system can be used to create temporary groups.
  • The system is generally used for areas that can be done solo, but are heavily benfited by having a team with you.
  • You can create your own party, or join another players party.
  • To manage your party you need a Party Stone, obtainable from the Minigame Hub or Raid Lobby.
  • Once you have a party stone, you can create a party.
    • As a party leader you can invite players to your party.
    • If your party is not in an activity, you can use your stone to kick players from your party by using the Manage option.
    • You can always invite players using the Manage option and typing their name, if they are not busy they will get an invite.
  • You can ask to join the party of any player by typing their username in the Party Stone -> Ask To Join Party option.
    • This will alert the party owner with a prompt allowing them to approve your join request.

9.4) Voting

  • You’re able to vote twice a day yielding up to 14 vote scrolls, This helps to push Nightmare 317 further up the voting sites to attract new players and grow our community.
  • Voting is an awesome way to start out in Nightmare 317, as you can choose between extra experience to level faster or Cash and vote points.
  • You can obtain vote scrolls via voting, buying off players for around 3-5 Trillion GP each, Crystal key chest and Boss drops.
  • Every 14 votes claimed you will be rewarded with a Vote Boss Token, this is an instanced vote boss teleport.
    • The Vote Boss can be teleported to with the Vote Boss Token.
    • This boss is hard to kill and may require you to get at-least into the Realms to kill it.
    • Upon death the Vote Boss provides several useful rewards such as: //TODO add the vote boss rewards
  • Also, voting is beneficial to earn F2P points and other items in vote store.

9.5) Skilling

  • All of the skills have been heavily extended, the maximum skill level is 999 and there is no experience limit.
    • This means the Highscores can never be maxed out and there will always be someone better.
  • To train any of the skills just click on them from the in-game skill tab.
    • When clicked it will teleport you to the specific area to train those skills.
  • If you are feeling lazy you can train your skills overnight (or during the day) at the AFK Zone.
    • To get to the zone type the ::AFKZone command.

9.6) Mana

  • Mana is a mix of Attack, Strength, Defence, Magic, Ranged, Hitpoints and Prayer.
  • It is a rechargable skill just like Hitpoints and Prayer.
  • Several things in our game cost mana, such as the newer prayers, magic wands and item summoning.

9.7) Prayer

  • Bones have been replaced with Soul Orbs, these orbs vary from Weak, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Very-Rare, etc.
    • You can train prayer by sacraficing these orbs on the altar at home.

    • To check if you have won, make sure you join our discord.
  • Epitaph: This shows all of the donations to the well.
  • View All Active Well Effects
    • This option is pretty self-explanatory, clicking this option will display all of the currently active global well effects and the amount of total GP required to activate them. At the top of the screen, it will also display how many people currently have their personal well filled and the global bonus EXP as a result of that in addition to the current status of your personal well filled level. (more on that later)
    • The benefits activate after a certain threshold of GP has been donated to the global well, donating to activate the maximum amount (500,000B) will active all prior to it also.
  • Access Your Personal Storage
    • This is the place where you store all of the resources that are used to contribute to both wells and where the items will be drawn from when activating and contributing to either well.
    • The resources that can be deposited are as follows: Coins / Nightmare Shards / Power Shards / Nightmare Chests / Crystal Keys.
    • When clicking any of the options above, you have the option to deposit assuming you have the items in your inventory or Money Pouch or withdraw to your inventory.
    • There is a “Tariff” on items stored within the personal storage of the well that exceed a certain threshold.
  • About Well of Experience
    • This will explain what the well does as well as provide some useful information regarding the cost of using the personal well.
  • Control Personal Well (Lvl 150+)
    • Now onto actually activating the well using the resources in your personal storage. As detailed previously and under the “About Well of Experience” section, there are 2 different uses of resources, one of which is the “Personal Well”. As the name suggests, this well is personal to you only and provides you with EXP boosts in relation to which well tiers are active.
    • “View All Paid Tariffs” is like a record of how much you have personally paid for storing items in the personal storage. As stated in the “Personal Storage” section of this guide, once items exceed a threshold, the tariff is paid on them every hour you are logged in.
    • “Activate / De-Activate Personal Well Benefits” is the location where you can apply or remove personal benefits using whichever currency you would like.
  • Control Global Well (Lvl 1+)
    • This is the second option for allocating your stored resources.
    • Selecting the option “Contribute To Hourly Rate” allows you to donate your resources.

  • Nightmare Raids are a type of bossing event that you can fight with others for a reward crate.

  • Raids have a mechanic implemented to reduce afking in them. If you stay in the same position for an extended period of time (roughly 30 seconds) it will activate.
  • It is important to note that all of the enemies that you fight inside the raid use some form of protection prayer and in-turn reduce your damage significantly, for that reason it is recommended to use more than one style of attack. 1. To teleport to the raids zone type the ::raids command.
  2. First things first, talk to the NPC “Raid Master John” and get a party stone.
  3. Left click the party stone in your inventory and create a party.
  4. Some people opt to solo the raid but if you have people that want to boss with you or invite you, you can left-click on them to invite them to your party and vice versa.
  5. Finally, to enter the raid, talk to our friend John again and select “Start Raid” and click the “Nightmare Raid”

11.6) Fighting The Boss/Rewards

  • Entering the raid, you will be greeted by a short tutorial from John and he will explain the steps to progress.
    • The aim of the raid is to complete “skilling” tasks in order to spawn an enemy, one that you will most likely remember from the world boss events. There are 5 boss stages of the Nightmare Raid and each will follow the same formula. With the exception being the final boss, but we’ll get to that later.
    • First order of business is to complete the “skilling” task, simply click on the object that the yellow arrow is pointing you to and the counter in the bottom left corner will decrease as you progress. In the case above, the task is to “Dig up 10 bones”.
    • Once the “skilling” task is complete, as mentioned, a world boss type enemy will spawn.
    • There are 4 stages of this exact layout, however, the 4th stage (2nd to last) will have the enemy spawn whilst you are trying to complete your “skilling” task.
  • As you would expect, the final boss of the Nightmare Raid works slightly differently to the ones that precedes it.
    • The enemy is again, a world boss enemy, however, there are no “skilling” objectives in this room. It is simply a fight. The only problem is that the boss becomes invincible to attacks at roughly 50% health.
    • On top of this, the boss also spawns enemies called “minions”. However, due to the size of the boss, it is sometimes difficult to see the minions, so the best case is to occasionally right-click the boss to see if a “minion” has spawned under it.
    • However, once all of the “minions” enemies have been defeated, the boss will once again become vulnerable to attacks and you can finish the fight as normal.
  • After killing the final boss, you and your party will be rewarded with a “Nightmare Raid Crate”.
    • The notable rewards from opening the crate include:
      • Sigil Crate
      • Aura Crate
      • Hades / Spellcaster / Hellfire Capes (BIS Range/Melee/Magic Capes)
      • World Boss Armour
      • World Boss Pets (5% Double Drop Rate)

12) Mass Bossing Guide

  • Requirement Completing at least to Tier 2 bosses (Brutalus / Druuk / Seismic Vorago)
  • Mass Boss is a set of bosses that you can fight with others for their reward crate.
    • That being said, a lot of players opt to fight the bosses solo as it is somewhat afk with the right setup.
    • It’s highly recommend that all pieces of equipment be upgrade to at least Tier 20 with the upgrade system.
  • Mass Bossing Gear
    • All mass bossing gear can be upgraded to a Rage variant of that same type, this improves the stats and allows you to craft the tribrid set with the full rage armour set.
    • To upgrade mass bossing gear you need to use Rage Stones.
      • To create Rage Stones you need a Rage Stone Fragement Part 1, 2, & 3.
      • To get Fragment Part 1 you need to deconstruct Mass Bossing Gear.
      • To get Fragment Part 2 you need to open mass bossig boxes.
      • To get Fragment Part 3 you need to open tier 10 boss boxes.

12.1) Gear Setup Melee

  • Melee is difficult to mass boss with as the boss can stack you for full HP before you have chance to heal with Soulsplit
  • Recommended Minimum

    • Cape Trump Cape
    • Neck Cyber Necklace of the Purge

  • Recommended Minimum

    • Weapon Trump RPG
    • Cape Darkshot Cape
    • Neck Cyber Necklace of the Purge

    • Cape Mana Stained Cape

12.5) Starting The Minigame

  1. To teleport to the mass bossing zone type the ::massboss command.
  2. Talk to the NPC “Mass-Bossing Master Terry” and get a party stone.
  3. Left click the party stone in your inventory and create a party.
  4. Some people opt to solo the boss but if you have people that want to boss with you or invite you, you can left-click on them to invite them to your party and vice versa.
  5. Finally, to enter the boss room talk to our friend Terry again and select start mass bossing and click the boss you would like to challenge.

12.6) Fighting The Boss/Rewards

  • Entering the boss area, you will spawn with your party members and see the boss “Nightmare Xarpus / King Tyrant / Unholy Golem”.
  • There are a couple of very important factors with Mass Bossing:
    • You will notice that your damage is reduced significantly.
    • In order to counteract this, the bosses HP is only 195,000 solo.
    • However, the bosses HP scales in correlation with the amount of members of your party.
    • For every additional party member the bosses HP increases by 45,000.
    • Range is generally the ideal setup, this is because range has a higher hit-per-attack rate than magic or melee. This resuls in the ability to heal to full with Soulsplit.
  • After killing the boss, you and your party will be rewarded with a Xarpus / Anubis / Celesital Treasure Chest.
  • Your clear-time will be posted in the chat box.
  • The notable rewards from opening the crate include:
    • Sigil Crate
    • Aura Crate
    • $10 Bond
    • Ymir Armour / Anubis Armour / Celestial Armour
    • Ymir Weaponry / Anubis Weaponry / Celestial Weaponry

Applying For Staff

  • Simply message any staff member and explain to them you would like to apply.
  • From here we will send you a private application form for you to fill out.
  • After this we will contact you about your application, we are currently accepting applications.

Staff Guidelines

  • In an effort to have transparency, we have moved our Staff Guidelines from the Staff Section.
  • Mind What You Say
    • As a staff member you are held to a higher standard then regular players would be.
    • This means you need to know the rules and be able to follow them while still instruction others to obey the same rules.
    • Having a crown means you act as a voice of the server, players will listen to what you say as law, you cannot abuse this power.
  • Game Bugs
    • As staff you’re the front line when it comes to testing bugs.
    • Because of this we request that as a staff member you agree that you’re forfeiting any claims you have to ownership of items obtained through actions we deem are bugs.
    • These could be misconfigurations or game-changing adjustments, it also includes the original concept vs implementation.
    • For example we’ll have an idea but sometimes the implementation does not go to plan and includes extras that were never intended, removal of these counts as originally being a bug.
  • Staff Answers
    • Staff should not give false or misleading Answers to players questions.
    • If a staff member is unsure of the answer then ask another staff member or ask in the Staff general chat on discord.
    • (mistakes happen but if you’re rusty on the question just ask another staff member behind the scenes)
  • Correcting Staff Members
    • If you notice another staff member got something incorrect, tell them through PM behind the scenes.
    • Please try to avoid calling them out publicly, give them the chance to self-correct by explaining why you think they are wrong privately.
    • (We want to look as strong and uniform as possible)
  • Reporting Bugs
    • Make sure to report all bugs in staff-bug-reports including as much detail as possible (CTRL + D) for debug mode.
      • You can also type the ::debug command to enable or disable debug mode.
