Pokes (Overview)
Pokes are a massive part of Nightmare. They add power, storage, and a flexible way to carry drop-rate bonuses long-term.
The big features
- Automatic combat: pokes fight automatically in many areas.
- DR merging: drop-rate pets can be merged into a poke (pet is sacrificed; poke gains DR).
- Team management: right-click a poke → Manage for stats and level info.
- Storage: each poke can store up to 32 items (mini-bank), persists through logout.
- Evolution support: supported pokes can evolve and devolve.
DR merge reminder
Merging consumes the pet. Do it when you’re confident about the poke you want to keep long-term.
Getting pokes
- Safari:

::homeand::lounge) with specific spawns.
Quality-of-life tips
Stack order
If pokes share a tile, team order decides which shows on top. Put your main poke first.
Naming
Naming may require a donator rank unless you have a rename scroll. Don’t let cosmetics slow progress.
Poke Tower synergy
Tower is a clean progression loop for auras/sigils — strong long-term multipliers.
Sell what you won’t use
Rares/shinies can fund huge upgrades early. Use Discord price checks if unsure.

Some evolutions are stone-based. Example:
- Flare: Fire Stone
- Vapor: Water Stone
- Leaf: Leaf Stone
- Jolt: Electric Stone
- Glace: Ice Stone
